Kaleidoscope will provide community leadership in the area of Early Childhood Education. Kaleidoscope will operate with a sustainable business model. Kaleidsocope will strive to be a valued community partner. Kaleidoscope will develop and practice holistic programming.
Contact us to learn more about our program and enrollment openings. We currently provide care for children 4 weeks to 6 years old. All of our employees are professionally trained and certified. Our facilities has diverse learning resources that are engaging and developmentally appropriate . We serve breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks every day using locally sourced and organic food when possible. Currently open Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30pm, Closed Fridays. A note about our origin: In 1991 KALEIDOSCOPE evolved from a grass roots effort in the Orcas Island community to fulfill a critical need for child care. Orcas Daycare Association is a non-profit organization providing the framework for the Kaleidoscope program. Kaleidoscope, and the community's children, will thrive with your support, ideas and donations. We welcome any and all support you, our community, can give.

If you are interested in Kaleidoscope, give us a call and we can let you know if there is space available. If there isn't currently a space, or you are planning for the future, we recommend putting your kiddo on our Waitlist. This can be done via email, We will need the child/children's name, date of birth, class of interest, family name, a good phone number to contact you with, your email, and if planning for the future a rough estimate of when you would like your care to begin. There is also a registration/holding fee of $100 that is non refundable. This can be paid through our website by going to the payment and enrollment forms and following the payment link, using a credit card or Paypal.
